Wheelspin Wings

Ever feel like you’re just spinning your wheels? That’s not exactly a bad thing – as long as you can get in gear and tear off down the track without laying down too much rubber. This week, we’ve got a recipe for wings that’s sure to shift your outdoor gathering into overdrive.

Check out Lance’s modern, slow-smoked take on a classic backyard-barbecue staple:

Ingredients

3-4.5 pounds of wings
Celery (for garnish)
Blue cheese or ranch (for garnish)

Marinade

Soy sauce
Minced garlic
Tabasco sauce
Brown sugar

Preparation:

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients in large bowl.

  2. Place wings in marinade.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Cooking:

  1. Set the grill to 300 F.

  2. Place wings on grill and cook for 45-60 minutes.

  3. Remove wings from grill and cover with foil for about 10 minutes.

  4. Remove foil and cover wings with your choice of sauce!
